Red Ribbon Week takes place each year from October 23rd through the 31st. Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. The theme of Red Ribbon Week 2022 is Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free. It is a reminder that Americans make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live drug free.

Locally, Drug Free Manatee is hosting events to educate youth and encourage substance misuse prevention. Watch as thousands of red ribbons pop up around Manatee County, in downtown Bradenton and Palmetto to signal the start of Red Ribbon Week 2022 on Sunday, October 23. Here are the week’s events.
